Dr Samantha Harris grew up in country Victoria before moving to Melbourne to study a double Arts/Science degree at Monash University. She then completed an honours year in Immunology and continued working in immunology research for the next 10 years.
In 2012 Samantha returned to university to pursue a medical degree with a goal of ultimately working in General Practice.
Since graduating from Deakin University in 2015, she has worked at Eastern Health, gaining experience in medicine, surgery, mental health, women’s and children’s health, and emergency medicine.
Samantha is passionate about the vital role general practice has to play in people’s health and well-being and looks forward to working with people of all ages and stages of life. Samantha is a mother of three young children.
