Deepak, who is a partner at Carrum Downs Medical Centre, was in born India and then came to Australia at the age of 5 with his family. He grew up in Whyalla, South Australia and attended Adelaide University to study medicine. He’s been a general practitioner since 1991, and always knew general practice was where he wanted to concentrate his efforts as a doctor. He enjoys making connections with people and treating the variety of conditions that present themselves through general practice. He has developed quite a following of patients with chronic conditions although he enjoys seeing any and all patients. He loves football and barracks for Port Adelaide, though he says this does not make him a bad person. In his spare time, Deepak loves to travel with his family.
