Dr. Rob McCubbin is a GP registrar who completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine at Melbourne University. Rob has completed a range of hospital rotations over 3 years including General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Colorectal Surgery and Geriatrics with Monash Health as well as Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Sunshine. He has completed the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health. Rob is interested in all aspects of general practice and is eager to experience a broad range of patients and conditions whilst he is undergoing his General Practice training.
Outside of medicine Rob grew up in Gippsland but has lived in Melbourne since 2011. He loves to travel and his favourite trips include hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, animal spotting in Borneo and a winter road trip around the South Island of New Zealand. Rob also enjoys dining out in Melbourne, going to the beach, photography, board games and cheering on Port Adelaide in the AFL. He has a little cat called Kiki who loves bird watching.
