Mental Health Care Plans are welcomed by all psychologists.
ATTI, BA(Soc)(Psych), Grad.Dip.Org.Psych.
Kris hails from Norway and moved to Australia with her family at the age of five. Her family settled in Victoria where she eventually studied at Monash University. She feels as though she has never stopped studying as it continues to satisfy her love of learning. She has spent much of her adult life on the Mornington Peninsula where she has raised her four sons. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding, playing the piano and reading. Kris’ horse ‘Jindy’ has been taken for rides spanning across country Victoria and the high country in NSW. Classical music is Kris’ favourite genre to play, although she says it sounds much better played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Reading provides Kris some downtime after a busy day and believes picking up a good Liane Moriarty book and flipping through the pages can be quite therapeutic. Since working at Carrum Downs Medical Centre, her interests in anxiety and depression have developed. She caters for any age group and is happy to see patients on mental health care plans.
