Elena was born in Russia and emigrated to Australia in 2002 and is an independent contractor at Carrum Downs Medical Centre. She has studied obstetrics and gynaecology which remains an area of interest in her general practice. She is married with two children. One child has followed in her mother’s footsteps into the healthcare industry, becoming a nurse. Her other child is a dancer and Elena loves to attend every performance and competition. The family loves to travel and there are aspirations to circumnavigate the globe. While Elena remains in Victoria planning her next travel adventure, her near future will instead be filled watching cooking shows for inspiration in the kitchen. She especially likes My Kitchen Rules and shows about food trucks in the hopes she can pick up new skills across new cuisines.
