Katrina landed in Australia with a diverse background in emergency medicine and rural general practice, and a keen sense of adventure. Even though her roots lead to Canada, Katrina has been settled into the great lifestyle of the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and young family since 2009. She has a keen interest and extensive experience in skin cancer medicine and women’s health – particularly fertility, contraception and offers Implanon/IUD insertion and removal. Katrina was a surrogate gestational carrier for her own sister and this experience has meant she enjoys counselling and guiding couples through their infertility and IVF treatments. Katrina works as an independent contractor at Carrum Downs Medical Centre and with all her patients, she encourages preventative health and wellness through exercise and healthy life choices.
